A new video by Sant’Anna School Biorobotics Institute has now been made public on YouTube (https://youtu.be/h2JEHmbfEHI) and on the Biorobotics Institute webpage. The video shows how technological skills and creativity can face globalization, national and international challenges.

Today’s researchers and students must improve critical thinking, creativity, and technological skills to communicate and work effectively in cross-disciplinary teams. Universities and educators are working to create high quality education experiences that will better address future expectations.

Since 2011, at the Sant’Anna School Biorobotics Institute located in Pontedera former Piaggio factory premises, bio-robotics, medical robotics, rehabilitation robotics, collaborative robotics, wearable robotics, soft robotics and bio-inspired robotics are applied disciplines.

During the 3-minute tutorial, the researchers of the Biorobotics Institute (more than 200 people work on research projects, interdisciplinary collaborations and innovative solutions) showed the audience how the faculty redesigned curricula to support the project implementation, and to provide students with a challenging real-world learning experience which allowed them to strengthen preparation for work environments.

The video released by Michele Nardini, in cooperation with Sant’Anna School Communications Office, and Alberto Mazzoni, researcher, also managing media statements and press releases related to the Biorobotics Institute, contains archival records, images and audio/visual materials.
